87 shopkeepers arrested over violation of lockdown.

PESHAWAR -- District administration Peshawar arrested 87 persons in a crackdown against the violators of lockdown from different localities of the district, said a press release issued here Sunday.

On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Mohammad Ali Asghar, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) inspected various bazaars on University Road and Ring Road and sealed two motorcars' show rooms and garments on violation of lockdown.

Similarly, AAC Mohammad Shafiq Afridi also inspected different bazaars of Hashtnagri, Sikandarpura, Nishterabad, Gulbahar and other localities and arrested several shopkeepers for keeping their shops opened in violation of restrictions on businesses.
