65 held in Mansehra over lockdown violations.

MANSEHRA -- The police have arrested 65 people over violation of the lockdown.

'The police are taking all possible measures to ensure people don't violate lockdown, and those violating the restrictions are being nabbed,' district police officer Sadiq Baloch told reporters here on Sunday.

He said the police had also arrested five outlaws wanted in heinous crimes and seized huge cache of drugs.

Mr Baloch said his department had so far received as many as 30 complaints from the Prime Minister Office, and 19 of them had been addressed.

QUARANTINE CENTRE: Assistant commissioner Tallat Fahad has claimed that a 40-room quarantine centre established by the district administration at the Elementary College in Ghazikot is fully equipped to deal with Covid-19 cases in Mansehra.

'The doctors and paramedical staff have been performing duties round the clock and patients are being given special diet and healthcare mandatory for Covid-19 patients,' Ms Fahad told reporters on Sunday.

She said geysers had been installed to supply hot water to both the suspected and positive Covid-19 patients.
