65,303 families receive cash under Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme in Rawalpindi.

RAWALPINDI -- As many as 65,303 families have received Rs 12,000 each cash here in Rawalpindi district under Ehsaas Emergency Cash programme.

According to a district government spokesman, total 35,152 families were provided Rs 12000 financial assistance under the programme in tehsil Rawalpindi.

Similarly, 11,771 beneficiaries were served in tehsil Gujar Khan, 6416 in Taxila, 4888 in Murree, 2590 in Kahuta, 2662 in Kallar Syedan and 1826 in Kotli Sattian.

He said, the poor families received cash from 24 points in Rawalpindi district while Rs 78,36,36,000 were disbursed among the deserving families affected by the lockdown.
