60 district council employees lose job.

DERA GHAZI KHAN -- Sixty employees of the district council were suspended from service for not attending the Kashmir rally on Sunday, sources told Dawn on Monday.

They faced action under the PEEDA Act for not attending the Kashmir rallies.

Sources said most of the suspended employees were residents of the tribal areas.

On the official report of the chief officer, action was taken.
