6.8 mln recovered from WADPA defaulters.

KOHAT -- In ongoing operation against power theft and recovery from defaulters, WAPDA in collaboration with district administration has so far recovered Rs 5 million from rural and Rs1.8 million from urban areas.

As many as, 81 FIRs have been registered against accused of power pilferage and one meter reader has been suspended over charges of supporting power stealing. Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Matiullah Ullah Khan informed this while chairing a meeting to discuss ongoing operation against power theft.
