500 power theft cases detected.

MUZAFFARGARH -- Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) teams unearthed 500 electricity theft cases in October in the district, Mepco Superintendent Engineer Mehr Nazar Dabb told reporters on Tuesday.

The Mepco special task force got registered 308 cases with different police stations while the department charged them 600,000 units and a Rs10 million fine. He said his teams faced threats from mafias but they spared no one.
