48,849 registered under Tenant Registration System.

LAHORE -- The police have registered 48,849 tenants under the Tenant Registration System (TRS) during the last one-and-a-half months.

It was revealed in a report regarding the performance of the Tenant Registration System (TRS) and 'Hotel Eye'' software.

The Cantt division enrolled 9,176, City division 4,762, Civil Lines division 2,613, Iqbal Town division 3,783, Model Town division 14,946 and Sadar division 13,569 tenants under the TRS.

The police also enrolled 5,994 private employees under the Registration of Private Employees (ROPE) through this system. The police traced nine offenders with old police record through the tenant registration.
