47 players called up for U-21 Asia Cup camp.

LAHORE -- As many as 47 players were called up on Saturday for Pakistan's training camp for the U-21 Hockey Asia Cup, which is set to be held in Oman in May-June.

The camp commences from Tuesday at the newly-built DHA Hockey Stadium here and will feature players who were shortlisted from the recent open trials in Lahore and Karachi.

The trials were conducted under the supervision of a five-member selection committee chaired by Olympian Kaleemullah Khan and comprising Nasir Ali, Rahim Khan, Shakeel Abbasi and Laeeq Lashari.

Olympian Hanif Khan has been appointed as the manager of the training camp.
