47 more lose lives: 1,745 more people test positive to Covid-19.

ISLAMABAD -- The coronavirus second wave continues taking toll on the people in Pakistan as 47 more people lost their lives to the virus during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 1,745 more people tested positive to Covid-19 as the nationwide infections jumped to 528,891 and with 47 new deaths, the toll jumped to 11,204 on Friday morning. According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Sindh with 239,186 Covid-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, KP and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties. So far 239,186 Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 152,158 in Punjab, 64,651 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 18,696 in Balochistan, 40,548 in Islamabad, 8,753 in Azad Kashmir and 4,899 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Nationwide fatalities remains 11,204 out of that 4,523 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 3,855 in Sindh, 1,823 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 192 in Balochistan, 461 in Islamabad, 248 in Azad Kashmir and 102 in...
