4 sacked police officers in Farishta murder case reinstated'.

PESHAWAR -- Four police officers in federal capital Islamabad, who were sacked over negligence in the investigation of rape and murder case of a girl from Mohmand tribal district, have been reinstated. Media reports said the sacked police officers have been restored after they failed appeals against their sacking. The reinstated officials include former station house officer (SHO) of Shahzad Town Police Station, investigation officer of the case, head constable (moharrar) and a constable.
