39 consumers found stealing electricity.

LAHORE -- Various teams of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco), Nankana Circle, on Thursday carried out search operation in various areas and detected 39 consumers stealing electricity directly from the 11kV distribution lines.

The teams, led by the respective executive engineers and sub-divisional officers (SDOs) in Bucheki division, visited Maura, Kot Nausher, Attari Chakar, Kot Namdar, City Bucheki, Malik Mauj, Fida Abad, Syedwala, Pindi Cheeri, Halla Syedan, Gaon Bara Ghar, Jag Chak, Bisdhar and Morr Khunda and found meters of 39 consumers receiving electricity through illegal connections. The teams disconnected the power supply to the consumers and charged them 53,240 units.
