30,000 health workers have been trained how to use safety kits.

Islamabad -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza on Saturday said the government has provided a training to 30,000 doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff in the country in their fight against Covid-19 pandemic as frontline soldier.

They are given training on use of safety gadgets and equipment. Daily one hour online training is being given to doctors and other healthcare workers.

Experts in the field are given training to doctors and health workers, he maintained.

He said registration for doctors, nurses and other paramedics who wish to get themselves trained for the use of safety gadgets is underway and they will be given training in the next phase.
