25 injured in blast outside police station in Rawalpindi.

RAWALPINDI -- At least 25 people have sustained severe wounds on Sunday, in a blast outside Ganj Mandi Police Station in Rawalpindi.

According to details, unknown persons threw a hand grenade and fled of the scene.

On the information of which heavy contingent of police, bomb disposal squad as well as rescue team reached at the scene and closed the area for general public.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, 25 persons sustained severe injuries, out of which 3 persons were given first aid on the spot.
