RAWALPINDI -- As many as 23 female traffic wardens are being deployed in the field to educate road users about violation of traffic rules, lane restrictions, use of helmets and enforcement of other traffic regulations.

Female traffic wardens will be able to manage traffic better, a traffic police spokesman said, adding the pre-training course of newly recruited 119 traffic assistants and 23 female traffic wardens has been started in the field after initial training in office work.
