21 coronavirus patients die: CM.

KARACHI -- As many as 1,564 new coronavirus cases emerged and 21 more patients died overnight lifting the tally to 72,656 and death toll to 1,124.

This was stated by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in his regular statement issued here from CM house on Tuesday.

The CM said 6,597 tests were conducted against which 1,564 new cases of coronavirus were detected showing 23 per cent detection rate. 'So far, 395,287 samples have been tested which diagnosed 72,656 cases all over Sindh that came to 18.4 per cent result,' he added.

According to the CM, some 21 more patients died overnight lifting the death toll to 1,124 that constituted 1.5pc death rate. He said that 1,357 more patients recovered and were discharged and the number of patients recovered so far had reached 38,401 that constituted 53pc recovery rate.
