20 % upgradation work on Buddhist trail's sites completed: Official.

ISLAMABAD -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Directorate of Archaeology and Museums has stepped up its efforts to refurbish all the 22 religious sites, encircling by the Buddhist trail, to attract followers of Buddhism and monks from across the world.

'20 per cent rehabilitation work has been completed on the trail, which starts from Khanpur and culminated at Swat, covering several Buddhist sites, including Julian , Bhamala, Jinnah Wali Dheri, Hund Museum, Rani Ghat, Peshawar Museum, Gor Khatri, Takht Bahi and others,' a senior officer told reporter on Thursday.
