ISLAMABAD -- Two reports laid while five bills moved in the Senate which were sent to their committees concerned for further deliberation by the Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday.

According to the details, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges Chairman Senator Muhammad Tahir Bizenjo presented the report on a privilege motion moved by Senator Irfan-ul-Haq Siddiqui against former Radio Pakistan Director General for launching a malicious campaign/ propaganda by misusing authority through United Saff Organization, Collective Bargaining Agent, and some officials of Pakistan Broadcasting Cooperation.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi laid the Annual Report 2021 of the Election Commission of Pakistan as required under Section 16 (1) of the Elections Act, 2017.

He also moved the bill to further amend the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oath and Fees) Act, 1948 [The Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oath and Fees) (Amendment) Bill, 2022], as passed by the National Assembly for the consideration.

He moved the bill for the establishment of the Pakistan Global Institute [The Pakistan Global Institute Bill, 2022], as passed by the National Assembly, for the consideration.
