2 educational institutions sealed to prevent community spread of Covid-19 in capital.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad district administration has sealed the premises of two educational institutions in the capital so as to prevent community spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The sealed institutions include Islamabad Model School for Boys (IMCB) F-8/3 and KIPS Academy PWD, Islamabad. Two separate notifications were issued by District Magistrate Islamabad to this effect on Sunday. The District Health Officer had reported to the Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate seven positive cases of Covid-19 in each facility.

A notification reads, 'In exercise of powers under Epidemic Control Act, 1958 and after confirmation of seven positive cases of Covid-19 by the District Health Officer, and in order to prevent community spread of virus, the premises of Islamabad Model School for Boys (IMCB) sector F-8/3 Islamabad is hereby sealed with immediate effect in larger public interest and until further orders.'
