18 more leave quarantine facility after recovery.

MANSEHRA -- The last batch of coronavirus patients left the quarantine facility at the elementary college for girls on Tuesday after complete recovery.

Eighteen patients were allowed to go home after they repeatedly tested negative for the virus.

The district administration said in a statement that more than 100 Covid-19 patients were quarantined at the college in the last one month and they all had gone home following recovery.

It said the coronavirus-related situation was under control in the district.

The administration said more than 40 foreign preachers quarantined at the multi-storey Tableeghi Markaz had also recovered.

Also in the day, deputy superintendent of police Bashir Khan asked traders to strictly follow the standard operating procedure for commercial activities and warned if that didn't happen, the police and administration would act against SOP violators.

During a meeting with traders, the DSP said the police had installed two walk-through disinfectant gates in Mansehra city and would install three more in the days ahead.

Meanwhile, the Mansehra traffic police have launched the 'no mask, no petrol' campaign to force motorcyclists and motorists to take precautionary measures against Covid-19.
