164 display centres set up in Attock: ECP.

TAXILA -- Regional Election Commissioner Aleem Shahab has said 164 display centres have been established in Attock for registration, correction and transfer of votes and the centres will work till June 19.

He was talking to mediapersons during a visit to the display centre set up at a government school in Attock on Friday.

Mr Shahab said 35 centres have been set up in Attock, 26 in Hazro, 15 in Hassanabdal, 28 in Fatehjang, 27 in Pindigheb and 33 in Jand.

He said these display centres would facilitate the public for entry of their votes at permanent or temporary addresses as mentioned on their national identity cards.

He said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was utilising all resources to ensure transparent elections.
