PESHAWAR -- The retired employees of various government departments have expressed serious concern over the uncontrolled prices of daily use commodities and demanded of the government to announce at least 15 per cent increase in their pensions at the earliest.

Talking to mediapersons here on Sunday, pensioners association, Peshawar chapter general secretary Javed Akhtar said during the past some months the prices of daily use items had increased by 16 per cent and the government had failed to revise the pensions as per the price hike.
