154 criminals held, looted items worth Rs 11.6m recovered during last week.

ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad police have arrested 154 outlaws during last week and recovered looted items worth more than Rs. 11.6 million from them including cars and bikes, a police spokesman said.

He said that 32 cases of dacoity, robbery and theft were traced during last week and 45 persons were arrested besides recovery of looted items worth Rs 9, 074, 030 from them.

Police also arrested 41 absconders during the same period while 26 accused were held for involvement in bootlegging as well as drug peddling activities and 12.586 kilogram hashish, 465 gram heroin, 108 wine bottles were recovered from...
