135 Pakistanis deported by Malaysia arrive.

RAWALPINDI -- As many as 135 Pakistanis deported by Malaysian authorities arrived at Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday.

A special flight of Pakistan International Airlines PK-9895 carrying 210 Pakistanis, including the illegal immigrants landed at Islamabad International airport at about 6:15pm on Tuesday.

A senior official of FIA's Anti-Human Trafficking Cell said that Pakistanis who arrived on a special flight from Kuala Lumpur were allowed to go home on arrival at the airport.

However, a Pakistani who had gone to Malaysia illegally through land route was shifted to the FIA's passport cell.

Deputy Director FIA Immigration Sajid Khokhar told Dawn that 210 Pakistani were brought back to Islamabad from Kuala Lumpur by a special flight on Tuesday.

He said of the 210 Pakistanis, 135 were illegal immigrants, while the remaining 75 were general passengers.

Mr Khokhar said that all of the Pakistanis deported by Malaysian authorities were allowed to go after verification as no legal action was initiated against them as they had not committed any crime in Pakistan.

On the other hand, a PIA spokesman said that the Pakistan embassy had given a list of passengers, traveling to Islamabad from Kuala Lumpur. All the passengers were taken care of on board by the PIA crew members.
