12 police officials dismissed.

SUKKUR -- Shikarpur police department has dismissed 12 police officials from service over charges of their links with criminals and outlaws and taken disciplinary action against 11 others for accepting bribes and patronwising social evils.

According to a notification issued by Shikarpur SSP retired Captain Faizan Ali that 12 police officials, including an ASI, were found having contacts with criminals and outlaws.

The department also received public complaints against the officials that they were involved in anti-social activities and patronising and facilitating organised crime in the district, said the notification.

The dismissed officials included police constables Amanullah Lashari, Imdad Ali Jafferi, Athar Ali Jakhro, Hafeezullah Lashari, Nisar Ahmed Lashari, Irfan Ali Shaikh, Shah Nawaz Tanwri, Abdul Ghafoor...
