114 employees of shopping mall quarantined.

GUJRANWALA -- Seventeen people tested positive for Covid-19 in Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala and Chiniot on Tuesday.

Up to 114 employees of a shopping mall were quarantined after their seven employees tested positive for Covid-19 in Gujranwala.

The positive cases have been shifted to an isolation ward while the others 114 employees have been quarantined in Kamoki.

Also, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 complications has reached 16 in the district. On Tuesday, four people died. They were laid to rest taking preventive measures.

Focal person Dr Nusrat Riaz told Dawn the current number of Covid-19 cases is 321.

TOBA TEK SINGH: Eight people of a family, of Chak 294-GB, tested positive for Covid-19.

Focal person for Toba Tek Sigh District Headquarters Hospital Dr Kashif Bajwa told reporters firstly one of the family members, an Islamabad police assistant sub-inspector, who was on leave in his home in Chak 294-GB, tested positive for the virus which brought the whole family under the Covid-19 spotlight.
