10th Day of Protest: Journalists reaffirm resolve to continue protest till release of Baig.

Islamabad -- The protest camp against the arrest of Online and Daily Jinnah Editor in Chief Mohsin Baig continued for 10th consecutive day on Wednesday.

A large number of journalists from twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad participated in the protest camp, set up outside Online office in Islamabad.

RIUJ president Aamir Sajjad while addressing the protesting journalists strongly condemned arrest of Online and Daily Jinnah Editor in Chief Mohsin Baig and conspiracy allegedly being hatched to close down Online and Daily Jinnah offices, depriving hundreds of journalists and other media workers from their jobs.

He also appreciated the courage and motivation demonstrated by Online and Daily Jinnah workers against the actions of the government.

Aamir Sajjad said the entire journalist community is standing by with the workers of Online and Daily Jinnah in this difficult time. He said whenever journalist community faced challenges all journalists stood united and resisted any unfair move by the government and this is the time again when we need to be united again and launch strong resistance campaign against baseless cases has been filed against Mohsin Baig.

The RIUJ president demanded of the government to release Mohsin Baig by closing all baseless cases against him.
